About Daftar
Daftar turns your bank messages into a clear picture of your spending, privately, on your phone.
Automatic, with very little typing
- Reads purchase, transfer, ATM and salary notifications from the bank apps you choose, and bank SMS that appear in your Messages app (only from the bank senders you choose).
- Recognizes expenses, income, refunds, transfers and cash withdrawals, and puts each one in a category.
- Detects duplicates, so a purchase that arrives both as SMS and as an app notification is counted once.
- Anything it isn't sure about waits for you in Review. It never guesses amounts.
Clear insights
- Overview: what you spent this month, income, savings and where the money went.
- Transactions: search, filters and the full history, fast even with thousands of entries.
- Cash Flow: inflow vs outflow and a transparent health score that shows how it's calculated.
- Budgets for the month and per category, with gentle alerts at 80% and 100%.
- Cash wallet: track what you spend in cash after an ATM withdrawal.
- Foreign purchases: amounts in your currency, from your card balance when available or your own rates.
Private by design
- No internet access: Daftar cannot send your data anywhere.
- No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no bank logins. Daftar never moves money.
- Balances, card numbers and codes are never stored.
- Optional app lock (fingerprint, face or PIN) and screenshot blocking.
- Password-protected backup you control, plus CSV export.
Optional on-device AI (supported phones)
On phones with Android's built-in AI (for example Pixel 9 and newer), Daftar can suggest details for unusual bank messages and categories for new shops. It runs on your phone, and every suggestion waits for your confirmation. This feature is provided by Google's Android AI; Google may collect anonymous diagnostics about that service.
Made for the Gulf
Built first for Kuwait (KWD, 3 decimals) and banks such as KFH, with support for other currencies and more banks over time.
Daftar is a personal expense tracker. It is not a bank, doesn't provide financial advice or loans, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any bank.
Delete your data
Daftar has no accounts, and your data never leaves your phone.
- In the app: Profile → Backup & data → Clear all data.
- Uninstall the app to remove everything it stored.
